My Story

I have always been fascinated by the human body and more recently how every part of our body, mind and spirit are intimately connected.

My journey towards greater health and wellness began 10 years ago and what an incredible journey it has been. Throughout that time, I tried to navigate my way through this diet and that diet, I found myself seeking gym after gym and I was extremely confused by all the conflicting health and wellness information out there. I was struggling with low self-confidence, poor body image, sluggish digestion, fatigue, low immune system, mercury toxicity and amenorrhea (absent menstrual cycle). In hope of finding more clarity and knowledge to better my health, I studied personal training and massage therapy but nothing seemed to be the answer to my health and greater wellbeing.

As health and helping others continued to be strong values of mine, I then went on to complete a Bachelor of Counselling and have since been working one on one with people for a number of years, but addressing mental health is only part of the picture. The ‘whole body and mind approach’ was missing for me in my personal life and also for helping others, and it is this holistic approach that I am truly passionate about.

So 10 years ago I hit the heaviest weight I have ever been and this was the moment where I made a conscious decision to take action and put my health before anything else. I surrounded myself with like-minded people and I was always learning and researching. I educated myself on how to lose weight the healthy way and threw away all the diets that never served me. There's many out there and trust me, I've tried most.

And, the results spoke for themselves! I lost 22kg’s over 18 months and I did this by moving more, eating smarter and improving my mindset. I didn’t restrict calories, I learnt to listen to what my body needed and I had sheer determination. I felt full of energy and full of life. 

More recently, I have struggled with amenorrhea (for 5 years), fatigue and gut issues. It was this that led me to Paul Chek's Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, where I firstly experienced the coaching as a client and then went on to become a certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach myself, to give back to the world something truly amazing, that I hold close to my heart. Focusing on and improving my nutrition, reducing stress, correcting movement and adopting healthy lifestyle habits, has allowed my body to heal, reduce stress, balance my hormones, regulate my menstrual cycle, improve digestion and to feel energised. 

The healing properties of nutrition, movement, energy, lifestyle and mind continues to blow me away and I am forever witnessing how our body and mind can heal. I have been, and still am, surrounded by amazing health practitioners and beautiful souls, that have helped me along the way (you know who you are) and I am forever grateful for the learnings and growth that this has given me.

Working with a Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coach was one of the best and most important decisions I have ever made. Paul Chek's unparalleled Holistic health and lifestyle philosophy taught me how to implement sustainable health and lifestyle changes. There was no magic pill, just a desire to achieve great health and this is possible for anyone!

Having now studied Paul Chek's advanced training in Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coaching, that ‘missing’ piece; a holistic approach has been filled. It is my purpose to help women achieve optimal health and wellness and realise their full potential, by treating them as a ‘whole’. I do this by taking an individualised approach by getting to the root cause of their symptoms and balancing any imbalances in the body. I believe no two people can possibly be the same and YOU are unique!

When adopting this holistic, individualised approach to health, my clients are able to know what it truly feels like to improve their vitality, energy and overall health. My clients become more aware of how their nutrition and lifestyle habits affect their mind and body and they learn how to restore balance. I guide and support the process, but it is your innate ability to self-heal.

This holistic approach is what I live my life by and with this, I truly believe anything can be achieved.

My own personal experience and training in this field has been incredible. I have been provided with invaluable knowledge and self-discovery that allows me to connect to my clients with a deep genuine empathy, with kindness, support and understanding. I absolutely love what I do, so it is my passion and purpose to guide and support you on your journey to reach optimal health and wellness.
